The city of Daytona is opening up opportunities for investors for the next 2 years.

The city announced a program through which they’ll waive fees for building permits, rehab permits, and inspections on properties between US-1 and Nova Rd., Mason Ave., and Shady Pl beginning Oct 21, 2021 until Oct 20, 2023. The city’s statement says they are doing this to promote neighborhood improvement and beautification, as well as to spur private investment in the core of the city.

Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, interior renovations, replacing or repairing a roof, adding fencing, improving or adding a driveway, and adding windows or doors.

Ineligible projects include, but are not limited to, building a new structure separate from an existing building or any new single-family home.
